Hollywood does Straddleline!
The other day this guy comes into Straddleline, he had been looking for a place to get his Jeep dirty and not having much luck. He was able to find a few things to crawl and small puddles I think it was on a power line some where. I explained what Straddleline had to offer, did the waiver, money, wrist band deal.
He had some cold beer and I was off work in 5 mins so I told him I’d meet him out back and show him the mud. By the time I got to where he was he was already stuck and starting to winch him self out, he was at the bottom of a steep wet clay hill with a small mud bog ahead of him.
There was no way he could go back the way he came he had to go through the bog. Before he was half way in the bog the winch came out again and he began pulling his Jeep through the mud as I sat on the bank watching. About half way through the mud bog his winch gave out on him and he was stuck but good. At that point you could see the realization on his face that his Jeep and ride home was sunk in the mud.
I told him not to worry I would be right back and returned with Larry on the dozer one quick pull and out he popped. To celebrate his victory over the mud hole he did some power slides and doughnuts on the flat. I’ve never seen someone as happy and excited as he looked at me and said you for got to tell me Straddleline is Disney Land for Jeeps!

Yamaha Visits Straddleline
Yamaha held it’s annual dealer education days at Straddleline over the last couple of days. This is a hands on opportunity for dealership salesman to gain first hand experience on the new models.
What a surprise it was to see Troy Rose in attendance. Troy not only soaked up the details of the new model quads and side x sides, he took one of the quads for a spin and showed us he still has racing in his blood.
Troy was flat tracking the quad around the parking lot with the other attendees and rode some of the most skillful wheelies I’ve seen on a quad in a long time.

Straddleline Improvements
The starting gate for the lower MX track has been moved. This will allow for separate entrance/staging gate and an exit gate. The new gate has a couple more slots than the old gate.
Straddleline has a new firewood shed. Now we can keep the rain off the wood and with the locking gate the wood should stop disappearing after dark. The fire wood is now sold in bundles for $3.00 each.
Soon bagged ice will be available also @ $2.00 a bag.
